Policy Statement

Scheduling

Massage sessions range from 30 minutes to 120 minutes. If this is your first massage please arrive about 20 minutes early so we can discuss your health history and what we will be focusing on in our session. Please see contact information in order to schedule your appointment.

Cancellations and Late Arrivals

If you should need to cancel your appointment, please do so with 24 hours notice, or you may be charged for your session. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, and I am able to fill your slot, you will not be charged. Sessions begin and end at scheduled times.  Sessions begun late due to the client arriving late, end at the appointed time and are full price. If you are running just a few minutes late, we will continue with your appointment, but please understand that you will only receive massage for the time remaining in your appointment.

Payment is due at time of service. I accept credit, debit, cash and local checks. Please make checks out to Real Body Therapy. I do not provide billing for insurance but can provide a superbill so that you can bill your insurance directly if requested.

Confidentiality

All information provided or discussed during your sessions is confidential. This information will not be shared except as required by law or your written permission to do so.

Sexual Appropriateness

Sexual behavior by the client toward the therapist or by the therapist toward the client is unethical, inappropriate and unacceptable.  Sexual harassment is not tolerated.

What to Expect

Please plan on arriving early to address your goals for our session. If this is your first massage please arrive about 20 minutes early so we can discuss your health and goals for our session. Our number one concern is for your safety so it is extremely important that we have thorough knowledge of your health history because some conditions are contraindications for massage. We especially need to know if you may be in your first trimester of pregnancy

Gratuity

Gratuity is never expected, but always appreciated
